Hi everyone and Happy Friday!!!
Well its been a hectic week but we are all at the end of the week now and the weekend is upon us woo hoo, and might I add that every where is starting to feel a little festive!! While shopping this morning there were little bits and bobs popping up all over the place like christmas sweeties, gifts, special foods, candles its crazy. I mean we haven’t even got Halloween done yet!! Admittedly though I do like looking at the christmas bits out especially the christmas scented candles my favourite being spiced apple and cinnamon,,hmm lovely. I cant wait to start making my christmas projects this year!!
Anyway back to todays project another quick and easy project but equally as pretty a little gift box! Cute for putting anything in although mine is empty, I would have put sweeties in but they never stay in the house long enough!
So the measurements are
DSP or cardstock 8″x 4″ (10.1cm x 20.3cm)
score the 4″(10.1cm) side at 1″ (2.5cm) and 3″ (7.6cm)
then turn and score the 8″(20.3cm) side at 1″(2.5cm), 3 1/2″(8.8cm), 4 1/2″(11.4cm) and 6 1/2″(16.5cm)
With the dsp or cardstock in landscape trim up your score lines (four one each side) up to the horizontal score lines these will form your tabs. Turn your template into portrait mode and the top two tabs bring down to meet the larger rectangles, then the next tabs down bring to meet the other tow rectangles and the bottom tabs need to be bought up to join the two rectangles you have just used then your box is done. Decorate as you wish and fill with treats or gifts.
