Expandable envelope favour using Stampin’ up! products

Expanding gift pouch 1    expanding gift pouch 2

Hi there

So here we are again and its Thursday already nearly the end of another week, they seem to be flying by at the moment.  So I have another project and I have been thinking of maybe structuring my posts better?  As I’m trying to get more organised I thought maybe i would plan my tutorials for certain days of the week but i will jiggle with it a bit longer as i want to do more videos as i haven’t done any in a while.  well we will just go with it for now and ill keep you all updated as i go along haha.  I do have some video projects planned as i have done some projects that need a bit more explanation as i do them but they are great projects i like them alot.  So todays one is the expandable envelope favour, now i have called it a favour but really it can be a gift to.  It can hold sweets or chocolates or a small card or a gift card its completely up to you.  i just thought it was nice and i haven’t done many card holders.  I used the Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack for these, i just love these paper stacks you get so much for your money and whether you have a lot of money to spend or a little then these packs will keep you going for ages!  I also used Whisper White cardstock and Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper (another favourite of mine) to stamp and back the sentiments.  For the back of the basic black pouch however i used the heart and gold glimmer paper for the flag from the Perpetual Birthday Calendar Project Kit.  I have the kit but haven’t put it together yet but i have delved into the goodies that come with it!! The sentiments come from the Hip Notes Stamp Set a versatile and lovely set.  Then i used a Basic Rhinestone Jewel Accent to add a bit more glamour and bling-a-bility.  Oh the inks i used are Real Red Stampin’ Pad and Melon Mambo Classic Ink Pad.  To coordinate with the colours i used the Real Red 1/8″ Taffeta Ribbon and Whisper White 5/8 Inch Organza Ribbon.  As for the punches i used Decorative Label Punch 1-3/4 Inch Circle Punch and 1-1/4 Inch Circle Punch.   So I hope you like this project, remember if you would like to see anything in particular to be made just let me know!

So the measurements are 9″ x 6″ (22.8cm x 15.2cm)

With the 9″ (22.8cm) side at the top score at 3 1/2″ and 7 1/8″ (8.8cm and 18cm)

then turn and with the 6″ (15.2cm) along the top score at 1/2″, 1″, 1 1/2″, 4 1/2″,5″ and 5 1/2″ (1.2cm , 2.5cm, 3.8cm, 11.4cm, 12.7cm and 13.9cm) to make the pouch you need to remove some bits…with the template in portrait mode only keep the three score lines either side of the largest panel these will be folded as a concertina effect to make the expanding sides.  You can remove the rest.  I hope that makes sense!!

Take care

Suzy x
