Mini purse 1   mini purse 2

Hi there! I hope you are all well and its not long til the weekend thank goodness.  I cant wait this week has been exhausting and im ready to get into bed and welcome saturday morning although another day to get through yet!!

Heres todays project its a purse style but you can fit gift cards in there so its a nice way to pretty up those cards.  I made the first one using Baked Brown Sugar cardstock which is one of the 2013-2015 in colours and sadly those colours will be leaving us this year and im so sad about that as I adore these colours.  Both purses are held closed with magnets so they snap together and stay together…these magnets are sooooo strong!!! Anyway i digress, back to the project.  The sentiment on the baked brown sugar is one of my favourites at the moment its from the free sale-a-bration stamp set Simply Wonderful and if you dont know what sale-a-bration is its a promotion from Stampin’ Up! that happens once a year and its probably the best they do, for every £45 / 60euro you pick a product for free from the sale-a-bration catalogue. They have blendabilities, stamp sets, accessory set, designer series paper its just fabulous and only on until 31st March. As if that wasnt spoiling you enough very very soon there are going to be four extra free sale-a-bration products to get your hands on and take it from me they are beautiful and i will be getting mine!!! so if you want yours to go over to my online shop and go get them!!

I used the Crumb Cake 1/2 Inch Seam Binding Ribbon and the Modern Label Punch.  The cardstock used on both purses is Whisper White A4 Card StockCard Stock A4 Baked Brown SugarCard Stock A4 Blushing Bride and the designer series paper used was Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack and Subtles Designer Series Paper Stack.  The other punches i also used are 1 Inch Circle Punch and the 1-1/4″ Scallop Circle Punch.

Measurements are

Cardstock to measure 10 1/2″ x 5″ (26.6cm x 12.7cm)

Score the long side at 1/2″, 4 1/2″, 5 1/2″ and 9 1/2″ (1.2cm, 11.4cm, 13.9cm and 24.1cm)

Then turn your cardstock and score the 5″ side at 1 1/8″, 1 1/4″ and 4″ (2.8cm, 3.1cm and 10.1cm)

The DSP measures 1″ x 3 3/4″ (2.5cm x 9.5cm) one piece needed

and one piece that measures 3 3/4″ x 2 1/2″ (9.5cm x 6.3cm)

when you have your cardstock in the horizontal position in front of you the parts to trim away are

Image (4)   The slim section down the left hand side will be the flap that you put your adhesive on and then fold up the bottom flaps.  pinch the sides when you bring over your top flap.

I hope this makes sense.  enjoy your day
