best buds boxes 1     best bud boxes 2

Hey everyone.

Its Friday again…my favourite day of the week as you can probably guess by now.  However I have to get up early tomorrow as im going with my daughter to visit another university.  So we will be out most if not all of the day.  I am promised breakfast in bed though Sunday for mothers day!

I have a project today that is a lovely little box that can be used for any occasion.  Its a longer box to normal and it just opens upwards.  I used designer series paper stacks but you can make it with cardstock to.

I used Subtles Designer Series Paper Stack and the Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack. The ink is Chocolate Chip Classic Stampin’ Pad and Garden Green Classic Stampin’ Pad.  To make the tags i used the Handpicked Framelits Dies and they are gorgeous i love them!! Its a very quick and easy project but great for anything.

Heres the measurements

DSP or cardstock 9″ x 3 1/2″ (22.8cm x 8.8cm)

Score the long side at 1″, 4″, 5″ and 8″ (2.5cm, 10.1cm, 12.7cm and 20.3cm)

then turn your dsp and score the short side at 1″ and 2 1/2″ (2.5cm and 6.3cm)

with the dsp in the horizontal position cut up the squares on the score line up to the long horizontal score line and repeat on the opposite side.  These create your tabs and adhere 4 tabs to one of the oblong and two to the other oblong.  These form the sides.  Decorate as you wish.

Tuesday is the next video day so dont miss it.  If you to know how to get any products or want to join or have any questions do get in touch.
