Bag box all in one using Stampin’ Up! products

Box bag 1  Box bag 2

Good morning all,

Heres a little twist on a gift bag, Its a box bag.  It is made like a box with a cardstock base inside but folds at the top like you have already wrapped a gift!!

Its really nice i like it alot.  The finished measurements are 4″ x 3″ x 2″ (10.1cm x 7.6cm x 5cm) so its a great size and can fit alot in there.

I have used Best year ever designer series paper(free with sale-a-bration) and the other is Basic Gray from the  Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack.  I think it looks nice with or without decoration so its your choice.  On the Basic Gray one i used the Whisper White 5/8 Inch Organza Ribbon and the other box bag was all Sale-a-bration freebies how great is that….only 3 days left so CLICK HERE for my online shop to get your goodies before its over.

The measurements

DSP to measure 10 1/2″ x 7″ (26.6cm x 17.7cm)

with the long side along the top score at 2″, 5″, 7″ and 10″ ( 5cm, 12.7cm, 17.7cm and 25.4cm)

Then turn it so the short side is along the top and score at 2″ and 6″ (5cm and 15.2cm)

turning the dsp back so the long side is at the top trim up the bottom vertical score lines to meet the long horizontal line and trim away the skinny long tab.  Then make your holes in the sides of the box for the ribbon.  Add your ribbon now (tie the ends on the inside) then stick the bottom of your box and side of your box together.  Cut a piece of cardstock that measures 1 7/8″ x 2 7/8″ (4.7cm x 7.3cm)and stick that down inside the base of the box this is to reinforce it.  Now your bag is assembled at the top fold both sides in and fold the two edges that look like triangles down and tie up your ribbon.

I hope that makes sense to you if you have any questions do let me know!

Have a great day

Suzy x
