Good morning everyone. did you all have a good Easter break? So we had the bank holiday weekend and now its back to normal, kind of, as the kids are still on Easter break from School.
So todays project is a tiny favour!! I was planning to do a video on this but as its still the holidays here its impossible with Leo running around. These little boxes open like a book and you can add a message or i just punched out some shapes and used vellum backing for the itty bitty accent flower and window sheet for the banner and petite petal punch. I made one in a wedding theme and the other two are in kids party theme. I wanted to make the party ones child friendly so instead of the box having a ribbon closure llike the wedding one they have card belly bands.
I hope you like them they were such fun to make.
If you would like to make your own then the products and measurements are listed below
Stamp Set A fitting occasion
Cardstock to measure 6 1/2″ x 3 3/4″ (16.5cm x 9.5cm)
With the long side at the top score at 5/8″, 2 1/8″, 2 3/4″, 4 1/4″ and 4 7/8″ (1.5cm, 5.3cm, 6.9cm, 10.7cm and 12.3cm)
then turn your cardstock so the short side is at the top and score at 1/2″, 1 1/8″ and 3 1/8″ (1.2cm, 2.8cm and 7.9cm)
The dsp measures 1 7/8″ x 1 3/8″ (4.7cm x 3.4cm)
see diagram below for parts to remove
The shaded parts are the ones to remove. Then fold and burnish your score lines and round the corners as diagram shows on top tab. fold the box from right to left and TAB 1 adheres to TAB2. The bottom flaps once snipped to form tabs fold upwards and adhere permanently. The top two small square tabs just fold in and the large top flap folds down so you can fill it with your treats and it can be opened and closed as many times as you wish.
I hope that makes sense!! let me know if you have any questions or comments.
