Desk pads

Desk boards 2

Good morning all.

So i havent got a tutorial for you today as such just a basic idea.  Years ago when i first started dabbling in paper crafts i made a desk tidy thing..not really sure what to call it.  I used some hardboard and covered it in wallpaper and its still going strong although looking well used!!  In the top left photo you can see that i used it to put sheets of my grid paper in.  I made corners so all i have to do is tuck the corners of the paper in and its good to go, then i can simply remove when im finished.  So as i was looking back the other day i thought i could make another one or two in different sizes.  I didnt make corners this time though i used each side and it still works well.

The top right photo is using just the stiff cardboard from the back of an A4 pad of paper.  I covered it in Something Borrowed designer series paper and then just folded over some more for each side.  Its all glued underneath as no one will see it and you can choose to add dsp or card to go over the back to cover it if you wish.  Then the smaller one is Melon Mambo paper from the paper stack and as it is in the picture it measures 6 3/4″ x 4 5/8″ but obviously you can make it any size you wish.  I keep that one on my desk to for when i need to make a quick note of something.  So they are cute to make for yourself or as  gift to someone.

Have a wonderful weekend

Suzy xx
