Tealight boxes using Stampin’ Up! new in colours

tealight boxes 1  tealight boxes 2

Good Morning all.

I love tealights, scented or not they are lovely.  Whether im using them to burn wax melts or just using them as they are i think they are brilliant.

I saw these while out the other day and thought i would make a little box for them and the reason i haven’t put window sheet behind the punched heart and flower is because these are apple scented and smell gorgeous.  These are in plastic cups and deeper than the usual metal cupped ones.  The box when finished measures 1 3/4″ x 1 3/4″ x 3/4″ (4.4cm x 4.4cm x 1.9cm)

I used the more subtle shades of the new in colours as they went really well with the tealight itself and i kept it very simple with the decoration and didn’t think it needed any stamping.

The box is sealed at the bottom and when punching out the flower and heart it does take a little bit out of the bottom flap but i didnt really mind as its underneath so it wont be seen.  It opens by a little flap at the top which can easily be opened and closed.

I think they are rather pretty, what do you think?
